Olivia and Stany epitomize the friendly and inviting attitude we experienced throughout the BVI. It was truly refreshing to visit this chain of islands as compared to others in the Caribbean where the majority can at times be very unfriendly. As a result, this is our new Caribbean destination!

The home is nothing less than a perfect base camp for all your BVI adventures! We can be at the east end via Ridge Road in about 20 minutes where we can catch a ferry to Virgin Gorda for lunch at Hog Heaven (best ribs) or take a swim at The Baths. Tip on VG ferry- there is a car barge that charges about $115 for small SUV so no need for a taxi or to pay individually for ferry ride, look up Global Ocean Transport.

The west end is about 30 minutes away to Smugglers Cove but the most tranquil beach we found on Tortola at Cane Garden Bay is only about 15-20 minutes away and the beach bar down from Myett’s is the best! Carlina was awesome with her refreshing drinks and burgers. The Norman Island ferry is only about 15-20 minutes drive with a ferry ride of 15 minutes to the Island and a definite must do with the Pirates Bight restaurant and incredible snorkeling! Road Town and all of its great services is just a quick jaunt down the hill.

This home is located on the ridge with 360 degree sweeping views from the upper floors. The hilltop location provides for refreshing breezes at night which keep you cool with very little bug activity. We are planning our return for next year where we will charter a sailboat during our stay so having this secure place to leave our belongings while we sail is a plus.

This was the most emotional departure we have ever experienced and my wife cried when we were saying goodbye to some amazing people we met while on Safari in Kenya 2 years ago. The BVI is the friendliest place on earth!
